Capital Fund Program
The Decatur Housing Authority (DHA) receives federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) each year for development, financing, and modernization of public housing developments and for management improvements at all DHA properties. This funding is called the Capital Fund Program.
THe DHA conducts meetings with staff and residents in the preparation of a document called the PHA Plan. This PHA Plan is a guide to the Decatur Housing Authority's policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs in our community. It is through this plan that the Decatur Housing Authority receives its Capital Funds. This plan includes an Annual Statement and a Five Year Action Plan. The Annual Statement Includes work items that have been determined to be top priority and the Five Year Action Plan outlines lower priority work items. This plan also includes performance and evaluation reports for the previous years' funding. Current jobs out for bid can be viewed here.
The PHA Plan is available to the public and can be viewed at the link below.
